Barbara Mills
Barbara has owned Every Penny Counts, LLC since Sept 2012. Prior to owning her own business, she worked for two years doing bookkeeping and personal income taxes at Benz, Seyfert, CPA's.
Barbara is a college graduate after attending the University of Alaska and the University of Colorado - Denver. While going to college Barbara was the Executive Director for Mother's against Drunk Driving for the State of Alaska. During her tenure she oversaw all aspects of the statewide organization. As a non-profit Barbara was responsible for the accounting practices of the organization. She was instrumental in changing many drunk driving laws in Alaska. During this time the drunk driving deaths dropped from 28 to 2 fatalities.
After graduation Barbara was hired as Business Manager for the Golden Pioneer Museum. During this time Barbara eliminated $90,000 debt in one year, making the museum financially stable. Built 1,000 s.f. addition and created another gallery. Replaced many display cases to fit current museum standards. Made strides towards accreditation. Created a strong accounting policy and employee manual.
Barbara's interests are horseback riding, caring for her flock of chickens, swimming, pottery, cooking, and politics





Leslie Olsen
Before coming to Colorado Leslie worked for the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. She began working at Colorado School of Mines in 1980 and retired in 2008 as Director of International Student & Scholar Services and Assistant Director of Admissions for International Undergraduate Admissions. Her duties included immigration paperwork for all international students, graduate and undergraduate alike, and for Visiting International Scholars. At one time she processed residency for new international faculty.
Leslie lived in other countries until she was 10 years old when her family moved to California where she graduated from Garden Grove High School and attended Santa Ana Community College. She also has attended classes at Red Rocks Community College and Colorado School of Mines.
She has been working with Every Penny Counts, LLC, since October 1, 2013.
